In his latest book "The Heart of Business" Harvard Professor Hubert Joly makes the case for the need to change the leadership principles for the next era of capitalism. It has become clear in the last years that a business in order to thrive, beside making profit should also make an impact. Beside the positive impact not only for the balance sheet and for all the stakeholders but also for the society as a whole, it should exist for and offer a purpose, a raison d'etre, beyond material world. This will increase the value proposition and also the employees' attachment and identification with the brand and its actions, their motivation to work and to live. Moving into the Future, Now, the business should have a heart, a set of values, guiding principles, that speak beyond financial success and accentuate it.
